This is an interview position

Planifier, organiser, doter en personnel, diriger et contrôler le dédouanement import-export, les entrepôts et le courtage. Assurer la conformité juridique et réglementaire de ces activités. Livrer un service ponctuel au maximum à toutes les étapes de suivi, de contrôle et de transport de colis à échéance fixe. Limiter l’exposition de l’entreprise aux amendes, aux pénalités et aux droits et taxes irrécupérables.

To plan, organize, staff, direct and control the import and export clearance, bonded warehouse and customs brokerage operations, to ensure legal and regulatory compliance, while providing highest level of service and commitment for time definite information management, control and package movement. To limit corporate exposure to fines, penalties and duty and tax bad debt.

Exigences scolaires

Postsecondaire:

• Diplôme universitaire de premier cycle ou l’équivalent

Accréditation/certification professionnelle:

• Doit être en mesure d’obtenir le statut de SCD dans les 2 ans ou avoir une désignation professionnelle de l’ASFC.
• Être déjà cadre chez FedEx ou avoir le certificat LEAP ou EXCEL.

Expérience

Nombre minimum d’années requis pour accéder à ce poste

• Quatre (4) ans d’expérience de l’exploitation d’une entreprise sont requis. Deux (2) ans d’expérience connexe dans les domaines de la logistique internationale, du transport international ou du courtage en douanes sont souhaitables.

Temps requis pour apprendre ou s’adapter à l’emploi

• 1 an

Exigences techniques

Solide connaissance des éléments suivants:

• Connaissance des restrictions canadiennes en matière d’importation et d’exportation ainsi que des lois et des exigences des organismes de réglementation, y compris une connaissance approfondie des systèmes commerciaux de l’Agence des services frontaliers du Canada, notamment CADEX/CUSDEC, ACRoss, RNS et PARS.
• Connaître les exigences de documentation-déclaration des biens importés ou exportés de même que la Loi sur les douanes du Canada et ses règlements.
• Il est souhaitable de connaître le fonctionnement, les systèmes, les politiques et les procédures de FedEx.

REMARQUES:

• Doit être en mesure d’obtenir le statut de SCD dans les deux ans ou avoir une désignation professionnelle.

Educational Requirements

Post Secondary:

• Bachelor's degree / equivalent

Professional accreditation/certification:

• Must be able to obtain CCS status within two years or have CBSA professional designation
• Must currently be a member of FedEx management or be EXCEL/LEAP endorsed

Related Experience Requirements

Minimum number of years required for entry to this job

• Four (4) years business experience required. Two years related experience in the international Logistics, Transportation or Customs Brokerage preferred.

Amount of time required to learn or adjust to the job

• 1 year

Technical Skill Requirements

Solid knowledge of the following:

• Knowledge of Canadian Customs Import/Export restrictions and regulatory agency laws and requirements including indepth knowledge of Canada Customs Commercial systems including cadex/cusdec, across, rns, pars.
• Knowledge of customs requirements for the reporting of and accounting for imported/exported goods, and Canada Customs Acts and Regulations.
• Knowledge of FedEx operations, systems policies and procedures preferred.

SPECIAL NOTES:

• Must be able to obtain CCS status within 2 years or have professional designation.
