Job summary

Bombardier is seeking a Methods Agent for Avionic Functional Test Control at the Dorval plant. The role requires a college degree in aircraft maintenance and at least five years of aviation experience, with knowledge of SAP, Macpac and Quicksilver.

Bilingual communication and a strong sense of responsibility are essential to support production and engineering teams in a highly regulated environment. You will be involved in solving mechanical systems challenges, developing and updating functional

• Participate actively in solving problems related to mechanical systems (troubleshooting).
• Write functional test procedures for various mechanical systems and identify the tools required to execute.
• Review and incorporation of engineering requirements.
• Plan and implement changes in production.
• Support and optimize daily production operations.
• Investigate technical issues and find solutions for the aircraft from preflight until delivery to the customer.
• Answer the technical questions of Methods, Quality and Production departments.

How to thrive in this role?

• You have a college degree in aircraft maintenance with a minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience in aviation.
• Knowledge of aircraft mechanical systems is essential.
• You must have a strong sense of responsibility, integrity, initiative and a good technical judgment.
• You must be able to work under minimum supervision.
• Bilingualism and strong organizational and communication skills are also essential.
• You have a strong customer focus.
• Knowledge of SAP, Macpac, Quicksilver is an asset.
• Knowledge of Challenger products is an important asset.
