Job summary

Bombardier CFG - Des Sources is seeking a Methods Agent to draft, validate and update work instructions for electrical installations, interpret electrical drawings, and define installation strategies for wiring, harnesses and components.

You will coordinate changes with Engineering, Logistics, Quality and Production, support production with issue resolution, ensure regulatory compliance, and contribute to continuous improvement of electrical methods. Fluent French and English are required.

Qualifications

  • You have a college or university degree in electrical engineering, electrotechnics, avionics, or a related field, or 1–3 years of relevant experience.
  • You can read electrical schematics and technical drawings.
  • You understand electrical systems and their integration in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

  • Draft, validate, and update work instructions and processes.
  • Interpret technical drawings, electrical schematics, and engineering documentation.
  • Define installation and integration strategies for electrical systems (wiring, harnesses, components).
  • Identify tooling and equipment requirements to ensure installation quality and compliance.
  • Coordinate implementation of electrical changes with Engineering, Logistics, Quality, and Production.
  • Actively support production by contributing to the resolution of technical issues related to electrical systems.
  • Ensure electrical installations comply with technical and regulatory requirements.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of electrical methods and processes.
  • Participate in root cause analysis and implementation of corrective actions.

How to thrive in this role?
  • You have a college or university degree in electrical engineering, electrotechnics, avionics, or a related field, or 1–3 years of relevant experience.
  • You have the ability to read electrical schematics and technical drawings.
  • You have a good understanding of electrical systems and their integration in a manufacturing environment.
  • You have a strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • You are proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • You are familiar with CAD tools (CATIA, AutoCAD, Enovia, etc.).
  • You have knowledge of ERP systems (SAP, BAAN, etc.).
  • You have a basic understanding of continuous improvement principles.
  • You are a team player with rigor, perseverance, and sound judgment.
  • You are fluent in French and have a good command of English.
