Job summary

Russel Metals in Sackville, NB is seeking a Labourer to support daily operations at our facility. You will operate overhead crane and forklift, pick and pack material to customer specifications, and assist with loading and unloading trucks.

You will also operate saw equipment and other machinery, carry out daily preventive maintenance, and help maintain quality customer service. Heavy lifting may be required; safety-conscious teamwork is essential.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 or equivalent.
• Good knowledge of math and measurements.
• Self-motivated, results oriented.

Responsibilities

• Running overhead crane and forklift.
• Picking and packaging material according to customer specifications.
• Operation of saw equipment and various other machinery types.
• Loading and unloading trucks.
• Performing daily preventative maintenance.
• Ensuring quality customer service.
• Able to perform some heavy lifting.
