Job summary

Hazloc Heaters, a division of InnovairSolutions, is seeking a Metal Fabrication Labourer to join the Welding and Fabrication division. Based out of the Northeast Calgr factory, this role involves reading Detailed Work Instructions and performing metalworking tasks using hand tools, grinders, and a cut-off saw.

Responsibilities include material preparation for welding, cleaning and QC of parts, and assisting with fabrication equipment maintenance.

Qualifications

• Experience in metalworking and reading detailed work instructions.
• Ability to use hand tools including grinding and sanding.
• Experience with a gravity-fed paint gun is preferred.
• Comfortable preparing materials for welding and grinding/beveling.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret Detailed Work Instructions.
• Operate hand tools such as grinders and sanders.
• Cut metal and aluminum with a cut-off saw.
• Clean and QC parts, check for defects.
• Prepare materials for welding by grinding/beveling.
• Maintain and repair fabrication equipment as needed.
• Support welding staff on related issues.

We areseeking a hardworking and detail-oriented Metal Fabrication Labourer to joinour dynamic team. The ideal candidate(s) will have experience in metalworking,a strong work ethic, and the ability to work efficiently in all activities as amember of the Welding and Fabrication division of the company.

Basedout of our Northeast Calgrfactory, the successful candidate:

Duties &Responsibilities:

• Reads and interprets Detailed Work Instructions


• Use of hand tools including grinding and sanding type tools


• Use of cut-off saw formetal and aluminum.


• Cleans, QC’s and checkscomponent parts for any defects.


• Removes metal and/orprepares materials for welding by grinding and beveling.


• Experience using a gravityfed paint gun.


• Ensures all equipment isclean and functional.


• Assists with themaintenance and repair of fabrication equipment.


• Assist Welding staff onsupport issues related to welding.


• Other related tasks andduties as required.
