Job summary

HCL Technologies Limited is seeking an experienced MES Technical Lead to provide technical leadership and hands-on engineering support for the Manufacturing Execution Systems landscape across global operations. The role owns architecture, integrations, and platform reliability.

You will lead delivery, perform design, build, test, and troubleshoot MES integrations with SAP, PLM, and shop-floor systems, and participate in deployments, upgrades, and operations.

Qualifications

• 8+ years across MES or manufacturing systems with lead or architecture experience.
• Experience with Siemens Opcenter, Camstar, CelFusion, Apriso, or comparable MES.
• Strong SAP integration and knowledge of MES processes.
• Hands-on SQL Server, APIs, middleware, cloud infrastructure, troubleshooting, and DevOps practices.
• Ability to balance technical leadership with hands-on engineering and operational responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead MES architecture, technical strategy, and roadmap, while delivering and supporting projects.
• Design, build, test, and troubleshoot integrations between MES, SAP, PLM, reporting, and shop-floor systems.
• Perform hands-on implementation, configuration, upgrades, releases, deployments, and environment support.
• Troubleshoot production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement reliability, monitoring, and performance improvements.
• Support disaster recovery, business continuity, and operational readiness planning.
• Partner with vendors, infrastructure teams, business stakeholders, and delivery teams.
• Establish technical standards, documentation, and support best practices.
