Job summary

General Dynamics Land Systems–Canada is seeking a University/College engineering student to assist Manufacturing Engineering in MES implementation, data migration, and development of digital processes. You will help with MBOM/BOPs, work instructions, and routing maintenance, while supporting Oracle and Teamcenter projects.

Responsibilities

• Support the creation and maintenance of variant and program specific items.
• Manufacturing MBOM and BOPs.
• Produce and validate detailed Work Instructions for processes.
• Support Oracle routings and standard hour estimates to align with Work Instructions.
• Support Teamcenter upgrades and IT projects as ME support.

The anticipated start date for the role is May 2027, with an expected 4 to 8 month term. However, a variety of start dates and durations for this role are possible. Feel free to indicate your availability on your application. The pay range for this position is $27.25-$27.75 per hour.

• Support implementation of a Manufacturing Execution System (MES) and migrate Manufacturing Engineering data to align with the new systems and processes


• Investigate root cause and implement corrective actions for Manufacturing Engineering's digitally transformed data to ensure configuration accuracy and alignment


• Develop, document and maintain ME digital processes and procedures


• Support the creation and maintenance of variant and program specific


• Manufacturing Bills of Material (MBOM) and Bill of Processes (BOPs)


• Produce and validate accurately detailed Work Instructions to meet Manufacturing and Customer Support process requirements


• Support the development and maintenance of Oracle routings and standard hour estimates to align with Manufacturing Customer Support Work Instructions
