Mergers and Acquisitions Tax, Manager (Bilingual FR/EN)

Join our growing Merger and Acquisition Tax practice within Tax services to help clients across various industries meet and manage their tax obligations. You will advise on local and cross-border tax issues, act as a strategic consultant for business analysis and M&A tax solutions, and assist with transaction structuring, tax due diligence, reorganizations, and post-acquisition integration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to transactions from proposal to closing, collaborating with PwC professionals, legal and financial advisors, and client management.
  • Add value by identifying tax issues during due diligence and proposing efficient tax structures.
  • Research, design, and implement diverse tax planning solutions.
  • Anticipate stakeholder needs and develop solutions proactively.
  • Handle complex, unstructured problems, balancing big picture and detail management.
  • Foster inclusive communication, coaching, and trust-building within teams and with clients.
  • Uphold ethical standards and professional conduct.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Experience in corporate/international tax research, consulting, or compliance.
  • Qualified Canadian CPA or equivalent.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Creative problem-solving and innovative thinking abilities.
  • Commitment to client service and high-quality work.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, multitasked environment.
  • Fluency in French required for Quebec roles; asset outside Quebec.
