Job summary

Brand Momentum Inc. is seeking an independent contractor to join our nationwide retail merchandising team as a Merchandiser in Alberta. The role requires visiting stores, setting up displays according to planograms, and updating seasonal displays and pricing.

This position offers flexibility, independence, and competitive compensation at $18 per hour for about 9 hours per week on weekdays. The ideal candidate will be customer-focused, well-organized, able to lift up to 45 lbs, and comfortable

• Previous merchandising or retail field experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Make product displays attractive and compliant with planograms.
• Transport products from storage to displays and refill as needed.
• Update seasonal displays and pricing information.
• Place product orders and support account-specific initiatives.
• Collaborate with store personnel and report merchandising activities daily.

About the Position

Job Status: Open Position

We are currently looking for an independent contractor who is a detail-orientated Merchandiser to work at a retail location, for 9 hours per week on weekdays!

Starting Rate: $18/HR

Responsibilities

• Making our packaged product displays look beautiful and appealing to customers
• Bringing products from the storage area and filling up the displays following a Planogram
• Updating any seasonal displays/pricing
• Placing product orders
• Executing account-specific initiatives i.e. bookings, end caps, marketing programs
• Recognizing opportunities to add value on each store visit while collaborating with department personnel
• Providing regular merchandising support – maintaining shelves, Planogram changes, Out of Stock correction, freshness, etc.
• Preparing and submitting required reporting daily

Position Requirements:

• Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships
• Able to maintain a professional demeanour with the public and store personnel when performing duties
• Detail oriented and extremely organized
• Flexibility to adjust to an ever-changing market environment
• Able to lift up to 45 lbs
• Able to stand for several hours on a continuous basis
