Job summary

Marketsupport Canada is seeking a Retail Merchandiser to service NORTH WEST Edmonton and surrounding territories. This role is part-time (15-25 hours per month) with immediate start.

As a Merchandiser, you will travel to local retailers to execute planograms, build displays, stock shelves, and provide feedback via our reporting App. A valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle are required, along with smartphone/computer literacy.

Qualifications

• Access to smartphone or tablet and home computer with Wi‑Fi.
• Valid Driver’s License and reliable automobile.
• May lift 15–50 lbs.
• Steel toe shoes may be required.
• Retail merchandising experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Travel to local retailers to perform merchandising assignments for brands.
• Implement planograms, build/maintain displays, stock shelves, install POP.
• Take pictures and provide feedback through the reporting app.
• Complete all scheduled assignments efficiently and on time.
• Coordinate territory based on deadlines; develop strong relationships with store staff.

Marketsupport Canada is seeking a Retail Merchandiser to service NORTH WEST Edmonton and surrounding territories. This role is part-time (15-25hours per month). Expected start date for this role: immediate. As a Merchandiser for Marketsupport, you will:

• Travel to various local retailers (grocery, drug, big box, home, hardware, gas, convenience) to perform merchandising assignments for nationally recognized brands.
• Provide merchandising services, such as: implementing planograms, building/ maintaining displays, selling-in additional displays/products, installing POP, stocking/tidying shelves, auditing, etc.
• Take pictures and provide detailed and constructive feedback through our reporting App.
• Complete all scheduled assignments efficiently, accurately and on time.
• Coordinate and map out your territory based on deadlines and efficiency.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with store managers and staff.

What we are looking for in a candidate:

• Available to work during daytime hours Monday to Sunday approx. 8am to 6pm
• Ability to manage a small local territory and dedicated to completing all assignments.
• Can roll with the punches and handle a diversity of tasks to complete.
• Comfortable discussing, promoting and selling additional products.
• Smart phone/ computer savvy.
• Self-motivated, independent worker and a problem solver.
• Highly organized and strong attention to detail.
• Professional demeanor and the ability to build positive relationships.

Requirements for the position:

• Access to smartphone or tablet (Android/ Apple) and home computer with Wi-Fi.
• Valid Driver’s License and reliable automobile.
• May be required to lift 15lbs and occasionally up to 50lbs.
• May occasionally require steel toe shoes.
• Retail merchandising experience is a plus.
