Job summary

Brand Momentum Inc. is seeking an independent contractor Merchandiser to work at a retail location in Hamilton, Ontario. This role is 15 hours per week on weekdays, with starting pay of $19 per hour.

You will set up displays, follow planograms, update seasonal pricing, and support account initiatives while collaborating with store personnel.

The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, physically capable of lifting up to 45 lbs, and comfortable working in a flexible, field-based environment.

Qualifications

• Independent contractor status preferred.
• Detail oriented and highly organized.
• Able to lift up to 45 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Make product displays look appealing to customers.
• Bring products from storage and fill displays per Planogram.
• Update seasonal displays and pricing.
• Place product orders as needed.
• Execute account-specific initiatives (bookings, end caps, marketing programs).
• Identify opportunities to add value during store visits with store personnel.
• Provide merchandising support and manage shelf cleanliness, stock, and freshness.
• Prepare and submit required daily reports.

About the Position

We are currently looking for an independent contractor who is a detail-orientated Merchandiser to work at a retail location, for 15 hours per week on weekdays!

Starting Rate: $19/HR

Responsibilities

• Making our packaged product displays look beautiful and appealing to customers
• Bringing products from the storage area and filling up the displays following a Planogram
• Updating any seasonal displays/pricing
• Placing product orders
• Executing account-specific initiatives i.e. bookings, end caps, marketing programs
• Recognizing opportunities to add value on each store visit while collaborating with department personnel
• Providing regular merchandising support - maintaining shelves, Planogram changes, Out of Stock correction, freshness, etc.
• Preparing and submitting required reporting daily

Position Requirements:

• Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships
• Able to maintain a professional demeanour with the public and store personnel when performing duties
• Detail oriented and extremely organized
• Flexibility to adjust to an ever-changing market environment
• Able to lift up to 45 lbs
• Able to stand for several hours on a continuous basis
