Job summary

Brand Momentum Inc. is seeking an independent contractor Merchandiser to work at a retail location for 15-16 hours per week on weekdays. The starting rate is $18 per hour.

The role involves in-field merchandising, planogram execution, and proactive store visits across a national CPG client network. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, professional, enjoys fieldwork, and capable of lifting up to 45 lbs while standing for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Make displays appealing to customers and keep planograms updated.
• Move products from storage to displays and restock as needed.
• Update seasonal displays and pricing on shelves.
• Place product orders as required by store needs.
• Execute account-specific initiatives (bookings, end caps, marketing programs).
• Identify opportunities to add value during each store visit with store staff.
• Provide merchandising support and maintain shelves, stock, and freshness.
• Prepare and submit required daily merchandising reports.

About the Position

We are currently looking for an independent contractor who is a detail-orientated Merchandiser to work at a retail location, for 15-16 hours per week on weekdays!

Starting Rate: $18/HR

Responsibilities

• Making our packaged product displays look beautiful and appealing to customers
• Bringing products from the storage area and filling up the displays following a Planogram
• Updating any seasonal displays/pricing
• Placing product orders
• Executing account-specific initiatives i.e. bookings, end caps, marketing programs
• Recognizing opportunities to add value on each store visit while collaborating with department personnel
• Providing regular merchandising support – maintaining shelves, Planogram changes, Out of Stock correction, freshness, etc.
• Preparing and submitting required reporting daily

Position Requirements:

• Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships
• Able to maintain a professional demeanour with the public and store personnel when performing duties
• Detail oriented and extremely organized
• Flexibility to adjust to an ever-changing market environment
• Able to lift up to 45 lbs
• Able to stand for several hours on a continuous basis
