Job summary

Match Retail is hiring merchandisers for store visits in Sarnia, ON. You will ensure shelf presence, install promotional signage, manage stock, and report findings to the Nespresso team. This is an independent contractor role with flexible hours and hands-on projects.

You’ll work with Nespresso-branded displays, interact with retailers, and maintain a pristine Nespresso area while traveling locally. Bring a valid driver's license and smartphone for reporting.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and access to a reliable car.
• Strong customer focus and ability to foster lasting relationships and convey brand messages.
• Good problem solving and time management skills.
• Detail-oriented, reliable, and friendly.
• Ability to self-manage remotely.
• Must have access to a smartphone with data to upload pictures and fill out reports.
• Some physical labor required (up to 50lbs).

Responsibilities

• Ensure shelf presence of all SKU’s listed by POS.
• Install and tear down promotional signage in POS according to national plan.
• Ensures negotiated footprint is respected.
• Manage machine stock in stores to ensure assortment/supply and minimize out-of-stocks.
• Update expired capsule sampler packs and coffee supply for tasting.
• Merchandise display machines and stock per brand guidelines.
• Clean and organize the Nespresso area including machines, displays and tasting station.
• Provide comprehensive reporting, including action items, recommendations, etc. on each store visit to the Nespresso team.
• Be a Brand Ambassador for Nespresso in all assigned retail stores.

About the Role

We work with our clients, Nespresso, and service major retailers.
