Brand Momentum Inc. is seeking an independent contractor Merchandiser to work at a retail location in Okotoks, Canada. The role involves setting up displays, restocking shelves, and executing merchandising plans on a 13–15 hour per week schedule during weekdays.

Responsibilities

• Create attractive product displays according to planograms.
• Move products from storage to displays following Planogram.
• Update seasonal displays and pricing.
• Place product orders.
• Execute account-specific initiatives such as bookings, end caps, and marketing programs.
• Identify opportunities to add value during store visits while coordinating with staff.
• Provide merchandising support—maintain shelves, update Planograms, fix stockouts, ensure freshness.
• Prepare and submit daily reporting.

About the Position

Job Status: Open Position

We are currently looking for an independent contractor who is a detail-orientated Merchandiser to work at a retail location, for 13 to 15 hours per week on weekdays!

Starting Rate: $18/HR

Responsibilities

• Making our packaged product displays look beautiful and appealing to customers
• Bringing products from the storage area and filling up the displays following a Planogram
• Updating any seasonal displays/pricing
• Placing product orders
• Executing account-specific initiatives i.e. bookings, end caps, marketing programs
• Recognizing opportunities to add value on each store visit while collaborating with department personnel
• Providing regular merchandising support – maintaining shelves, Planogram changes, Out of Stock correction, freshness, etc.
• Preparing and submitting required reporting daily

Position Requirements:

• Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships
• Able to maintain a professional demeanour with the public and store personnel when performing duties
• Detail oriented and extremely organized
• Flexibility to adjust to an ever-changing market environment
• Able to lift up to 45 lbs
• Able to stand for several hours on a continuous basis
