Job summary

Brand Momentum Inc. is seeking an independent contractor Merchandiser to work at retail locations on a flexible, field-based schedule. The role covers about 6 hours per week with a starting rate of CAD 20/hour and involves meeting new people while representing a national CPG brand.

You will build displays, update pricing and planograms, and collaborate with store personnel to ensure shelves look appealing and up-to-date. This position offers independence and competitive compensation.

Responsibilities

• Create attractive product displays following a planogram.
• Move products from storage to displays and update them as needed.
• Update seasonal displays and pricing information.
• Place product orders as required.
• Execute account-specific initiatives (bookings, end caps, marketing programs).
• Identify opportunities to add value during store visits with store personnel.
• Provide regular merchandising support and report daily.

About the Position

Job Status: Open Position

We are currently looking for an independent contractor who is a detail-orientated Merchandiser to work at a retail location, for 6 hours per week on weekdays!

Starting Rate: $20/HR

Responsibilities

• Making our packaged product displays look beautiful and appealing to customers
• Bringing products from the storage area and filling up the displays following a Planogram
• Updating any seasonal displays/pricing
• Placing product orders
• Executing account-specific initiatives i.e. bookings, end caps, marketing programs
• Recognizing opportunities to add value on each store visit while collaborating with department personnel
• Providing regular merchandising support – maintaining shelves, Planogram changes, Out of Stock correction, freshness, etc.
• Preparing and submitting required reporting daily

Position Requirements:

• Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships
• Able to maintain a professional demeanour with the public and store personnel when performing duties
• Detail oriented and extremely organized
• Flexibility to adjust to an ever‑changing market environment
• Able to lift up to 45 lbs
• Able to stand for several hours on a continuous basis
