Job summary

Match Retail is seeking a motivated Merchandiser to visit stores across Canada and ensure product displays are up to date for Nespresso and other brands. This Independent Contractor role offers flexible hours (1–2 hours per month) and an hourly compensation rate.

You’ll manage shelf presence, signage, stock levels, and reporting after each visit, working with store teams and brand guidelines. Ideal candidates have a valid driver’s license, access to a reliable car, strong customer focus,

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license and access to a reliable car.
• Strong customer focus and ability to foster brand messages.
• Good problem solving and time management skills.
• Detail oriented, reliable and friendly.
• Must have access to a smartphone with data to upload reports.
• Some physical labor required (up to 50 lbs).

Responsibilities

• Ensure shelf presence of all SKU’s listed by POS.
• Install and tear down promotional signage in POS per national plan.
• Ensure negotiated footprint is respected.
• Manage machine stock in stores to maintain assortment and minimize stockouts.
• Update expired capsule sampler packs and coffee supply for tasting.
• Merchandise display machines and stock per brand guidelines.
• Clean and organize the Nespresso area including machines, displays, and tasting station.
• Provide comprehensive reporting after each store visit to the Nespresso team.
• Be a Brand Ambassador for Nespresso in assigned stores.

We work with our clients, Nespresso, and service major retailers.

What You’ll Do:

• Ensure shelf presence of all SKU’s listed by point of sale (POS)
• Install and tear down promotional signage in POS according to national plan
• Ensures negotiated footprint is respected
• Manage machine stock in stores to ensure assortment/supply and minimize out-of-stocks
• Update expired capsule sampler packs and coffee supply for tasting
• Merchandise display machines and stock per brand guidelines
• Clean and organize the Nespresso area including machines, displays and tasting station.
• Provide comprehensive reporting, including action items, recommendations, etc. on each store visit to the Nespresso team
• Be a Brand Ambassador for Nespresso in all assigned retail stores.
