Job summary

Match Retail is hiring for a Merchandising position in Tillsonburg, ON, to visit stores and update product sections, ensuring the latest innovations are presented. You’ll support major retailers, including Nespresso, and act as a Brand Ambassador in assigned stores.

As an Independent Contractor, you’ll have flexible hours and a competitive hourly rate. You must drive to store locations, manage shelf presence, and provide reporting to the Nespresso team.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable car.
• Strong customer focus and ability to foster lasting relationships and convey brand messages.
• Good problem solving and time management skills.
• Detail-oriented, reliable, and friendly.
• Ability to self-manage remotely; must have a smartphone/data to upload pictures and fill out reports.
• Some physical labor required (up to 50lbs).

Responsibilities

• Ensure shelf presence of all SKUs listed by POS.
• Install and tear down promotional signage in POS according to national plan.
• Ensure negotiated footprint is respected.
• Manage machine stock in stores to ensure assortment and minimize out-of-stocks.
• Update expired capsule sampler packs and coffee supply for tasting.
• Merchandise display machines and stock per brand guidelines.
• Clean and organize the Nespresso area including machines, displays and tasting station.
• Provide comprehensive reporting, including action items, recommendations, etc. on each store visit to the Nespresso team.
• Be a Brand Ambassador for Nespresso in all assigned retail stores.

About the Role

What You’ll Do:
