Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in the GTA with a focus in Kitchener, ON - June to August. As a Merchandiser at MP&CO Inc., you will be responsible for maintaining and stocking products in retail locations, ensuring that displays are built as directed by the client and accessible, and working closely with the Site Lead and Steel team. Day-to-day tasks will include setting up product displays, monitoring and maintaining standards, and ensuring that merchandise is appropriately priced and labeled. You will also be engaging with customers to provide excellent service.

Qualifications

• Communication and Customer Service skills
• Sales and Retail experience ideal
• Attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and reliably
• Ability to work as a part of a larger team sharing the same vision
• Previous experience in merchandising or retail is advantageous
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is a plus
• Must have independent transportation and means to travel to other GTA locations
• Role may include day and / or night shifts depending on the client needs
• Ideal certifications could include first aid training, forklift and scissor lift, and working from heights
• Communication : must be able to read / write and communicate in English
