Job summary

Fraser Health seeks a Registered Nurse/Registered Psychiatric Nurse to provide treatment and care management for individuals with mental illness and concurrent disorders. Working within an interprofessional team, you will deliver recovery-oriented care and collaborate to meet client needs.

You will assess clients, develop and implement care plans, administer medications, monitor responses, and advocate for client autonomy.

Qualifications

• Graduation from approved School of Nursing or Psychiatric Nursing.
• Current practicing registration with BCCNM.
• Valid BC Driver's License and access to a vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates care with an interprofessional care team and develops treatment plans.
• Provides direct nursing care and administers medications per standards.
• Maintains client-centred care and collaborates on care plans.
• Participates in case conferences and advocacy for client autonomy.
• Documents assessments, care plans and outcomes per Fraser Health procedures.
