Zusammenfassung

Shared Health is seeking a dedicated Mental Health Crisis Response professional to provide supportive services at the Shared Health - HSC MH Crisis Response Centre in Winnipeg. You will work with the CRC/CSU Clinical Team Leaders to support individuals in mental health crises.

Responsibilities include maintaining relationships, providing client and family support, documentation, and coordinating with resources. In-person, 1.0 FTE, days and weekends shifts, with driving checks as needed.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum of two years mental health experience at the para-professional level, providing support services to adults with mental illness.
• Understanding of Recovery Oriented Guidelines.
• Basic familiarity with a range of mental illness presentations.
• Familiarity with Mental Health Act, PHIA and Child & Family Services Act.
• Familiarity with Crisis Intervention Theory and risk management responsibilities.
• Knowledge of Trauma Informed Care and Suicide Prevention Initiatives.
• ASIST and Suicide Assessment and Intervention.
• Experience working with substance-related concerns.
