Job summary

ARC’TERYX Veilance is seeking a Designer 2, Men’s to design product solutions aligned with Veilance philosophies. You’ll focus on men’s product, imagine innovative designs for the city environment, and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a highly creative setting.

Based in North Vancouver, the role is on-site with eligibility to work in Canada. You will create patterns and prototypes, contribute to material and construction innovations, and work with Development, Merchandising, and Design

Qualifications

• Degree in design for apparel or industrial textile engineering.
• 5+ years hands-on experience designing apparel products, with focus on Men’s product.
• Ability to create tools and construction methods to resolve issues in production.

Responsibilities

• Create patterns, mock ups, and prototypes to explore and prove concepts.
• Provide detailed initiations to Product Development with specs, patterns, fit directions, and material info.
• Collaborate with Fit & Pattern to resolve fit and construction issues for commercialized product.
• Coordinate with Materials to test new materials for prototyping needs.
• Stay up to date with industry trends and contribute to toolbox improvements.
