Job summary

The Law Society of Ontario is seeking a Client Services Representative to deliver timely, accurate membership services to licensees, internal departments and external stakeholders. You will handle billing, status changes, and certificates of standing, ensuring data integrity and compliance with CSC standards.

Qualifications

• Requires completion of a 2-year college program in Business, Accounting, or related discipline.
• Requires a minimum of 2 years of experience providing client service in a high-volume call centre, preferably in the financial services industry.
• Professional knowledge: GAAP and internal controls; knowledge of Law Society services, mandate, bylaws and regulations.
• Technical skills: MS Office Suite / 365, Ozzie CRM, SharePoint.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills; ability to present information clearly.

Responsibilities

• Provides billing, status changes, and certificates of standing for members in accordance with CSC standards.
• Liaises with internal departments and external agencies to verify and reconcile member information.
• Contributes to achievement of service targets related to accuracy and timeliness.
• Processes financial transactions for fee-for-service offerings and handles payments for reinstatements and other fee-related services.
• Ensures accuracy of financial transactions and compliance with internal controls.
