Job summary

McCarthy Tétrault is recruiting a Billing Compliance Analyst to join the Client Accounts Operations team in Toronto. You will own end-to-end billing setup, including client onboarding, rate configurations, and ensuring accurate LEDES and invoice processing in a hybrid work environment (4 days in office).

You will manage rate accuracy, resolve rejections, and support month-end submissions. The role requires 3+ years in legal billing, strong Excel, Power BI, and SQL skills, and familiarity with

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of legal billing or eBilling experience in a law firm or professional services.
• Experience with Outside Counsel Guidelines (OCGs) and electronic invoice processing.
• Advanced Excel skills with pivot tables, lookups, and data transformation.
• Familiarity with LEDES formats and eBilling platforms (Legal Tracker, CounselLink, TyMetrix 360, or similar).

Responsibilities

• Own data setup for client matters, onboarding, and go-live.
• Configure rates by matter, timekeeper, and client; manage annual rate changes.
• Reconcile invoices, resolve rejections, and support collections on outstanding invoices.
• Create dashboards/reports using Power BI, SQL, and Power Query to drive performance.
