Job summary

Bulkley Valley Credit Union is seeking a frontline member services specialist to handle routine cash and non-cash transactions and respond to member inquiries across phone, email, and digital channels.

You will build lasting relationships with members, assess their financial needs, and provide trusted advice while guiding them to products and services that best fit their situation, including referrals to other staff when appropriate.

Qualifications

• High school diploma with preference for 1–2 years of post-secondary/business education.
• Cash handling experience is a plus.
• Strong customer service and communication skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Process routine cash and non-cash member transactions.
• Respond to member requests via telephone, electronic and digital channels.
• Build and manage relationships with members and provide trusted financial advice.
• Analyze member needs and outline benefits or alternatives to meet those needs.

The successful candidate should have a minimum of a high school diploma, one to two years of post-secondary education in the business discipline would be preferred. An individual with a combination of education and/or experience, preferably with cash experience, will also be considered.. You should be adaptable, organized and have the ability to prioritize and thrive in an environment of ongoing change.
