Job summary

FCU Community Financial in Powell River is seeking a Senior Member Service Representative to join the team at the Powell River Branch. This permanent, full-time advisory role focuses on recommending and implementing account, deposit, and loan products to improve members' financial well-being.

You will build relationships, cross-sell products, and support community financial health while delivering high-level service in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Secondary school diploma and three years of experience in financial, sales or service industries.
• Knowledge of First Credit Union products and services and ability to advise on deposits and loans.
• Strong communication skills, relationship-building and client service orientation.

Responsibilities

• Assist members with account, deposit and loan product recommendations and implementations.
• Promote and provide advice on deposit products, including registered and non-registered accounts.
• Process loan applications, collect documentation, and use financial planning tools to support member well‑being.
• Build relationships, cross-sell products, and refer members to other departments as appropriate.
• Maintain knowledge of products and provide fast, personalized service.
