Job summary

Sudbury Credit Union is seeking a dedicated Member Services Representative to join our frontline team. You will handle deposits, withdrawals, bill payments, wires and transfers while guiding members through digital banking options and services.

As the face of our cooperative, you will build trusted relationships, educate members on suitable products, and refer complex needs to our advisor team to support their financial goals.

Qualifications

  • Post secondary diploma from an accredited College or University.
  • Minimum of 2 years of cash handling, retail and/or customer service experience.
  • Positive attitude with a desire for continuous learning.
  • Ability to help members achieve their financial goals.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct financial transactions for members at the frontline (deposits, withdrawals, bill payments, wires, transfers).
  • Assist members with online banking, eTransfers and the Mobile app.
  • Proactively build relationships by understanding members’ financial life cycle.
  • Educate members on products and services suited to their current situation.
  • Refer complex financial needs to the team of Member Advisors.

What will you do?
  • Conduct financial transactions for members on our frontline, such as deposits, withdrawals, bill payments, wires, and transfers

  • Educate members on the products and services that are best suited to their current financial situation

What will you need to succeed?

The successful candidate will require a post secondary diploma from an accredited College or University or a minimum of 2 years of cash handling, retail and/or customer service experience. You will need a positive attitude, an appetite for continuous learning and a desire to help others maintain and reach their financial goals.
