Job summary

StellerVista Credit Union in Fernie, BC invites applications for a Member Services Representative 2. This role focuses on friendly, proactive member service, helping clients achieve their financial goals with personalized guidance.

You will assist with savings and everyday accounts, recommend suitable products, and complete documentation accurately. Travel between Sparwood and Elkford may be required; hours include Tue-Thu, Fri, and Sat shifts, with competitive pay.

Qualifications

• Secondary school diploma plus roughly 2 years related sales and service experience in a financial institution.
• Equivalent education and experience may be considered.
• Knowledge of lending and deposit products is valued.

Position Overview

As a Member Service Representative 2, your service to members will power their financial goals and dreams. Excellent member service at StellerVista starts with listening and caring to the needs of our members so that they can make an informed decision based on customized advice.

StellerVista ’s sales goals and promotions are designed to ensure members receive proactive help to discover and obtain the products and services they need.

In this role, you will help members with their savings (in regular and registered accounts), their accounts (ensuring they are in the best account for them), and assisting with frontline, in-person interactions. Plus, you will prepare and complete required documentation quickly and accurately, resulting in an easy, stress-free experience for the member. You will assist members in different stages of their lives so they will be ready for their next financial milestone.

This position is a bargaining unit position

Schedule Description

Tuesday-Thursday: 9:00am – 4:30pm

Friday: 9:00am – 5:15pm

Saturday: 9:30am – 2:30pm

Note:

These hours may be altered or increased due to operational requirements. Some travel between StellerVista (Sparwood and Elkford) branches may be required.

Wage scale: $28.76/hr. - $33.80/hr.

Minimum Qualifications

Do you have a secondary school diploma plus a minimum of approximately 2 years related sales and service experience from a Financial Institution?

Candidates with an equivalent combination of education and experience will also be considered.
