Job summary

StellerVista Credit Union is seeking a Financial Services Processing Administrator in Cranbrook, BC for a permanent part-time, on-site role. You will assist with member transactions for registered and non-registered products, and year-end activities, while supporting MasterCard and Member Card programs.

The position is Bargaining Unit with a schedule of 17.5 hours/week (Mon-Fri 10:30am–2:00pm) and potential for additional hours as required.

Qualifications

• Secondary school diploma plus two years of experience in a member service and/or Financial Services position from a Financial Institution.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality service to internal members and support Financial Services staff in processing member transactions for registered & non-registered products, designated estate transactions and support MasterCard and Member Card programs.
• Process financial services transactions not generated directly by members and conduct year-end activities relating to registered products for all branches.
• Provide administrative support to co-workers within the Finance and Administration Department on relief, rotational or assigned basis.

Position Overview

As the Financial Services Processing Administrator, you will provide quality service to internal members and contribute to the success of StellerVista through the achievement of department service goals. You will also provide administrative and technical support to Financial Services staff in the processing of member-generated transactions for registered & non-registered products , designated estate transactions and supports MasterCard and Member Card programs. Furthermore, you will process financial services transactions not generated directly by members and conduct a variety of year-end activities relating to registered products for all branches. On a relief, rotational or assigned basis, you will provide administrative support to co-workers within the Finance and Administration Department.

(This position is a Bargaining Unit position)

Schedule Description

Permanent Part-Time – (17.5 hours/week)

Monday - Friday: 10:30am – 2:00pm daily

**Note: Additional hours/days may be required, often on short notice, subject to operational requirements.

** Although the position is being posted at 3.5 hours daily, the position is one in which increased hours may be required. We are aware of the following situations, however there may be others, as operational needs dictate:

• Month-end duties/tasks (often the first week of the month). It is anticipated to be 5 hours daily.
• Registered Product Season and Year-End Activities – to be determined when monthly scheduling is completed January – March annually. It is anticipated full-time or near to full-time hours may be required during this peak season.

Wage scale: $28.76/hr - $33.80/hr.

Minimum Qualifications:

Do you have a secondary school diploma plus two years of experience in a member service and/or Financial Services position from a Financial Institution?
