We are currently hiring a Member Service Representative for our South Surrey Service Location. This is a Temporary Full-time position ending in late August or early September.

As a Member Service Representative, you will be part of the member-facing team that delivers exceptional experiences every time. You are the first and last impression for every member who enters and leaves our service location. This role is pivotal in delivering excellent member experiences by identifying needs and directing customer flow seamlessly.

What you’ll do:

  • Engage and welcome incoming members, proactively coordinating appointments with advisors to ensure a positive waiting experience.
  • Answer incoming calls, make outbound calls to confirm appointments, and monitor the service email account.
  • Enhance member value by promoting BCAA memberships, products, and services.
  • Process payments and documents accurately.

What you bring:

  • Completion of Grade 12.
  • At least two years of customer service experience, preferably in insurance or hospitality.
  • Strong computer skills, with basic knowledge of MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Bonus qualifications:
  • CAIB certification or knowledge of ICBC systems.
  • Ability to speak languages other than English.

The hourly rate for this position ranges from $20.62 to $25.77 and is determined based on knowledge, skills, experience, certifications, market demand, and internal equity. In addition to base salary and benefits, this role is eligible for a performance bonus of 10%, with the potential to earn up to 17.5%.
