Job summary

Prospera is seeking a sales-focused Financial Services Representative to join our local team in Surrey.

You will acquire and onboard new retail and business members, uncover needs, and recommend everyday banking, lending, and investment solutions. The role requires 1–3 years in financial services, a Mutual Funds license or CSC within six months, and strong communication within a collaborative community.

Qualifications

The shift rotation for this role is Monday-Friday.

The successful candidate must be a resident of the local community and live within close proximity preferably Cloverdale, Surrey and Langley.

Previous banking experience and exposure to retail banking operations are required for this role.

A Mutual Fund License or completion of the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) is required at the time of hire or must be obtained within six months of starting in the position.

What You Do

What You Bring

• 1–3 years of experience in financial services or a sales environment.
• Exposure to lending and investment products and needs‑based selling.
• Mutual Funds licensed or willingness to obtain within six months.
• Strong communication skills, financial curiosity, and comfort with technology.
• Grade 12 (or equivalent); post‑secondary education in Business or Marketing is an asset.

Compensation

• Prospera offers a total compensation package of base salary plus incentives that are market competitive and reviewed annually.
• The salary for this role is $46,000 to $57,500. The final offer will be based on the successful candidate’s knowledge, experience, and internal equity.
