Job summary

Assiniboine Credit Union Ltd is seeking a Member Service Representative to support members with day-to-day transactions and digital banking needs at our Cartwright & Killarney branch in Manitoba. You will be the first contact for many members, delivering friendly service and accurate transactions.

You will help members navigate products, protect privacy, and collaborate with Advisors to meet financial goals. Multitasking, strong English communication, and a team-first mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• The competencies require a minimum grade twelve diploma, plus two to three years job related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Excellent customer service experience and a strong team player.
• Fluent in English, both verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Provide courteous and professional service, meeting and exceeding standards.
• Promote and assist with digital banking needs.
• Process deposits, withdrawals, bill payments, and cheque cashing.
• Assist with opening/closing duties of vault, ATM, and cash recycler units.
• Greet members and support lobby management.
• Identify member goals and connect to the right Advisor for current and future needs.
• Achieve individual targets and support team success.
• Resolve member complaints with first contact resolution when possible.
• Adhere to credit union policies on security, privacy, and risk management.
• Demonstrate commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion.
