Job summary

Access Credit Union in Manitoba seeks a dedicated Member Services Representative to handle over?oot transactions, deposits, loans and payments with precision and courtesy, while promoting Access products and services.

You will balance cash daily, assist members with inquiries, and collaborate with teammates to deliver outstanding service. A Grade 12 diploma and strong communication skills are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year minimum in a customer/member service role.
• Demonstrated desire to serve others in a friendly and professional manner.
• Ability to identify and act on sales and service opportunities.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Attention to detail with high degree of accuracy.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
• Proficient computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Process over-the-counter financial services in an efficient and professional manner, referring more complex issues to the appropriate person or department.
• Balance transactions including ATM, night deposits and the cash drawer daily.
• Resolve routine problems with member accounts and deposit instruments.
• Differentiate between credit union and competitor products and services in terms of member needs; communicate product information to secure sales.
• Maintain open communication and cooperation with other staff to ensure a friendly and efficient work environment.
• Actively look for referral opportunities for lending and wealth teams; contribute to branch and organizational goals.
