Job summary

Assiniboine Credit Union Ltd. is seeking a dedicated Member Services Representative at the McTavish Branch for a 9-month term. You will assist members with day-to-day transactions, promote digital solutions, and connect customers with advisors.

You will handle deposits, withdrawals, and vault duties while maintaining high service standards in a on-site branch environment. Reporting to the Assistant Branch Manager, you will engage with members to identify needs, support retention, and contribute

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills with a focus on building relationships.
• Cash handling experience including counting cash and balancing cash flows.
• Excellent customer service experience and a strong team player.
• Ability to identify member needs and recommend appropriate products or services, supporting sales growth and member engagement.
• Proven track record in completing tasks with high accuracy and attention to detail.
• Effective problem-solving skills with ability to prioritize and multitask.
• Proven experience with various computer applications.
• Knowledge of credit union products and services, policies and procedures is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Provide a high level of service by attending to members in a courteous and professional manner, ensuring all advice and service delivery standards are met.
• Engage members in meaningful conversations to uncover goals and needs, guiding them to the appropriate Advisor.
• Promote and assist with digital-first solutions for members.
• Provide transactional service including deposits, withdrawals, bill payments, and cheques.
• Assist with vault, ATM, and cash recycler duties as required.
• Support lobby operations and greet members warmly, contributing to team success.
• Resolve member complaints with first-contact resolutions when possible.
• Adhere to credit union policies, risk management, and security requirements.
• Demonstrate commitment to values-based banking, diversity, equity and inclusion.
• Maintain privacy of member information and stay current on industry trends.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
• Support ACU’s rural/agricultural and francophone services commitments.
