Job summary

Movati Athletic Inc. in Edmonton is seeking a Member Experience Associate (Opener and Closer) to deliver exceptional guest experiences and drive member engagement. You will greet guests, handle member concerns, promote programs, and process sales at the cafe and pro-shop.

In this role you’ll start and end shifts, maintain knowledge of club services, assist with events, and support a welcoming environment aligned with Movati’s core values. CPR & First Aid certification is required.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of customer service experience in a related industry.
• CPR & First Aid certification must be maintained during employment.
• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Proactively manage and resolve member concerns; escalate serious issues to management.
• Provide exceptional customer service to cafe and pro-shop retail operations.
• Ensure cleaning duties are completed safely and timely.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of programs, products and services; promote them to members.
• Responsible for all sales transactions.
• Complete administrative tasks accurately with 5-Star service.
• Assist with member experience events throughout the club as needed.

Role

Our Member Experience Associate is responsible for promoting outstanding customer service practices and striving to continuously improve the member experience. You will also:

• Proactively manage and resolve all member concerns, and Escalate serious concerns to the Management team for resolution
• Provide exceptional customer service to retail operations (cafe and pro-shop)
• Ensure cleaning duties are completed and maintained in a safe and timely manner
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of programs, products, and services, as well as promote them to club members
• Responsible for all sales transactions
• Completes all administrative tasks accurately, diligently and promptly with consistent5 Star customer service
• Assists with member experience events throughout the club as needed

The compensation will be determined based on experience, skills set, education and training, and other organizational needs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent experience is considered an asset. Additional certifications or workshops related to customer service is strongly preferred
• 1+ years of customer service experience in a related industry is an asset (i.e. retail, hospitality, leisure, fitness, etc.)
• Current CPR & First Aid are required and must be maintained through employment
