Job summary

Movati Athletic Inc. in Mississauga invites applications for a Member Experience Associate to greet guests and ensure members feel welcome, comfortable and healthy.

You will interact with guests, resolve concerns, process transactions, and promote clubs programs, products, and services. This role requires strong customer service, the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, CPR & First Aid certification, and a friendly, team-oriented approach.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; customer service certifications preferred
• 1+ years of customer service experience in related industry is an asset
• Current CPR & First Aid certification maintained through employment

Responsibilities

• Proactively manage and resolve member concerns
• Provide exceptional customer service to cafe and pro-shop operations
• Ensure cleaning duties are completed in a safe and timely manner
• Maintain knowledge of programs, products, and services and promote them to members
• Responsible for all sales transactions
• Complete administrative tasks accurately and promptly with 5-star customer service
• Assist with member experience events throughout the club

In our Clubs, our Member Experience Associates play a very important role. This team is among our most confident and detail-oriented team members in our building. Your typical work day will be full of interaction and engagement with guests, which also means ensuring they receive the best experience possible from the moment they walk in our doors.

Role

• Proactively manage and resolve all member concerns, and **escalate serious concerns** to the Management team for resolution
• Provide exceptional customer service to retail operations (cafe and pro-shop)
• Ensure cleaning duties are completed and maintained in a safe and timely manner
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of programs, products, and services, as well as promote them to club members
• Responsible for all sales transactions
• Completes all administrative tasks accurately, diligently and promptly with consistent5 Star customer service
• Assists with member experience events throughout the club as needed

Hourly wage range: $17.60 - $23.00/hour.

• The posting is for an existing, currently open position.

The compensation will be determined based on experience, skills set, education and training, and other organizational needs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent experience is considered an asset. Additional certifications or workshops related to customer service is strongly preferred
• 1+ years of customer service experience in a related industry is an asset (i.e. retail, hospitality, leisure, fitness, etc.)
• Current CPR & First Aid are required and must be maintained through employment
