Job summary

MOVATI Athletic in Ottawa is seeking a Member Experience Associate to deliver outstanding customer service and enhance the member experience. You'll engage guests, manage inquiries, and promote club programs and services, including cafe and pro-shop offerings.

This full-time role requires availability Monday to Friday, 4:30 AM to 12:30 PM. The position offers competitive wages in Ontario ($17.95–$23.00 per hour), benefits after 3 months, complimentary membership, uniforms, flexible hours, and

Qualifications

• 1+ years of customer service experience in a related industry.
• CPR & First Aid certification is required and must be maintained.

Responsibilities

• Promote outstanding customer service and continually improve the member experience.
• Proactively manage and resolve member concerns and escalate to Management when needed.
• Provide exceptional service to cafe and pro-shop operations.
• Process sales transactions accurately and promptly.
• Keep knowledge of programs, products and services up-to-date and promote them to members.
• Assist with member experience events as needed.
• Availability Monday–Friday, 4:30 AM–12:30 PM.

Your typical work day will be full of interaction and engagement with guests, which also means ensuring they receive the best experience possible from the moment they walk in our doors.

Role

Our Member Experience Associate is responsible for promoting outstanding customer service practices and striving to continuously improve the member experience. You will also:

• Proactively manage and resolve all member concerns, and accelerate serious concerns to the Management team for resolution
• Provide exceptional customer service to retail operations (cafe and pro-shop)
• Ensure cleaning duties are completed and maintained in a safe and timely manner
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of programs, products, and services, as well as promote them to club members
• Responsible for all sales transactions
• Completes all administrative tasks accurately, diligently and promptly with consistent5 Star customer service
• Assists with member experience events throughout the club as needed
• Must be available Monday - Friday, 4:30AM-12:30PM

Ontario: Hourly wage range: $17.95 - $23.00/hour.

• The posting is for an existing, currently open position.

The compensation will be determined based on experience, skills set, education and training, and other organizational needs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent experience is considered an asset. Additional certifications or workshops related to customer service is strongly preferred
• 1+ years of customer service experience in a related industry is an asset (i.e. retail, hospitality, leisure, fitness, etc.)
• Current CPR & First Aid are required and must be maintained through employment
