Job summary

MOVATI Athletic Burlington is seeking a Member Experience Associate to deliver outstanding service and promote a welcoming, healthy atmosphere for our members. The role involves engaging with guests, supporting cafe/pro-shop operations, and maintaining clean, safe club conditions.

You will manage member concerns, promote programs, and handle sales and administrative tasks while contributing to a flexible, member-centric environment. CPR & First Aid certification is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required or asset.
• 1+ years of customer service experience in related industry (retail, hospitality, leisure, fitness) is an asset.
• Current CPR & First Aid certification is required and must be maintained through employment.

Responsibilities

• Promote outstanding customer service practices and strive to improve the member experience.
• Resolve member concerns and escalate serious issues to Management.
• Provide exceptional service to cafe and pro-shop operations.
• Ensure cleaning duties are completed safely and timely.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of programs, products, and services and promote them to members.
• Handle all sales transactions accurately and promptly.
• Complete administrative tasks with 5-star customer service.
• Assist with member experience events throughout the club.

Role

Our Member Experience Associate is responsible for promoting outstanding customer service practices and striving to continuously improve the member experience. You will also:

• Proactively manage and resolve all member concerns, and escalation serious concerns to the Management team for resolution
• Provide exceptional customer service to retail operations (cafe and pro-shop)
• Ensure cleaning duties are completed and maintained in a safe and timely manner
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of programs, products, and services, as well as promote them to club members
• Responsible for all sales transactions
• Completes all administrative tasks accurately, diligently and promptly with consistent5 Star customer service
• Assists with member experience events throughout the club as needed

Ontario: Hourly wage range: $17.60 - $23.00/hour.

• The posting is for an existing, currently open position.

The compensation will be determined based on experience, skills set, education and training, and other organizational needs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent experience is considered an asset. Additional certifications or workshops related to customer service is strongly preferred
• 1+ years of customer service experience in a related industry is an asset (i.e. retail, hospitality, leisure, fitness, etc.)
• Current CPR & First Aid are required and must be maintained through employment
