Job summary

Movati Athletic is seeking a Member Experience Associate to deliver outstanding service at our Ottawa clubs. You will engage with members from the moment they enter, promote our programs and products, and handle sales transactions with accuracy.

The role emphasizes flexible hours, a friendly demeanor, and a value-driven culture aligned with Movati's standards. CPR & First Aid certification is required, and a High School diploma is an asset; full-time staff receive benefits after 3 months.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of customer service experience in related industry is an asset (retail, hospitality, leisure, fitness, etc.).
• Current CPR & First Aid are required and must be maintained through employment
• High School Diploma or equivalent is considered an asset

Responsibilities

• Proactively manage and resolve all member concerns, and elevate serious concerns to the Management team for resolution
• Provide exceptional customer service to retail operations (cafe and pro-shop)
• Ensure cleaning duties are completed and maintained in a safe and timely manner
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of programs, products, and services, and promote them to club members
• Responsible for all sales transactions
• Complete all administrative tasks accurately, diligently and promptly with consistent 5 Star customer service
• Assist with member experience events throughout the club as needed

Your typical work day will be full of interaction and engagement with guests, which also means ensuring they receive the best experience possible from the moment they walk in our doors.

Role

Our Member Experience Associate is responsible for promoting outstanding customer service practices and striving to continuously improve the member experience. You will also:

Hourly wage range: $17.60 - $23.00/hour.

The compensation will be determined based on experience, skills set, education and training, and other organizational needs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent experience is considered an asset. Additional certifications or workshops related to customer service is strongly preferred
• 1+ years of customer service experience in a related industry is an asset (i.e. retail, hospitality, leisure, fitness, etc.)
• Current CPR & First Aid are required and must be maintained through employment
