Placements24 is seeking a highly knowledgeable Medical Science Liaison (MSL) specializing in Oncology to cover the Kimberley region and surrounding areas. This field-based role serves as the scientific and medical expert for our oncology portfolio, engaging with key opinion leaders and healthcare professionals to disseminate complex data and gather insights.

The ideal candidate holds an advanced degree and has substantial experience in medical affairs or clinical research with a strong oncology

Qualifications

• Advanced degree (MD, Pharm.D., Ph.D., DVM) in a relevant life science or medical field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in medical affairs, clinical research, or a related role, with a strong focus on Oncology.
• Deep understanding of oncology therapeutic areas, clinical trial design, and scientific communication.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
• Willingness to travel extensively within the designated territory covering Northern Cape.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain strong relationships with Oncology Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and healthcare professionals.
• Present complex scientific and clinical data on assigned products in an accurate and unbiased manner.
• Gather and communicate medical insights, unmet medical needs, and competitive intelligence from the field.
• Support clinical trial activities, including site identification and investigator engagement.
• Respond to unsolicited medical information requests from healthcare providers.
• Collaborate with internal medical, marketing, and clinical development teams to align strategies.
