We have a new opportunity for a Medical Science Liaison (MSL) to join our Medical Affairs team. In this role, you will develop and nurture relationships and enhance our scientific credibility with external experts (EEs). The MSL responds to requests by providing scientific/medical information to external experts and internal stakeholders. This position is based in Quebec, covering the Quebec territory.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain scientific knowledge to credibly disseminate information to external experts and healthcare professionals, fostering professional relationships.
• Participate in and follow up on investigator-initiated studies, clinical studies, and medical projects within the relevant therapeutic area.
• Provide scientific support and maintain relationships with external experts and academic centers.
• Deliver credible presentations on scientific matters to healthcare professionals, individually or in groups.
• Assist in selecting qualified healthcare professionals for collaborative efforts such as research, advisory boards, congresses, and symposiums, ensuring scientific integrity.
• Attend scientific meetings and develop summaries of key data presented.

Qualifications

Education/Experience Required:

• Doctorate, PharmD, or MD is preferred; MSc in a scientific discipline with medical affairs experience will also be considered.

• Relevant industry experience, with previous MSL experience preferred.
• Background in neurology/migraine is an asset.
• Experience in a customer-facing healthcare role.
• Ability to interpret scientific or clinical research publications.

Essential Skills & Abilities:

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Comfortable with technology and various tools/systems.
• Travel approximately 50% of the time.
• Valid driver’s license and passport.

• Coordinating scientific engagement efforts within accounts.
