Position Overview

We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Medical Sales Representative to join our team and help expand our reach within the medical community.

As a Medical Sales Representative at Mikata, you will be responsible for promoting and selling our portfolio of healthcare software solutions to physicians and healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in pharmaceutical or medical sales, with a deep understanding of the healthcare industry and the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Territory Management:
    1. Develop and execute a strategic plan to expand Mikata Health’s footprint in Western Canada, working under the direction of the SVP Sales and Marketing.
    2. Conduct in-person visits to medical offices, hospitals, and prospective clients to build and maintain strong relationships.
    3. Complete outbound activities including cold calling to build and maintain relationships.
    4. Identify, prioritize, and target key accounts within the territory.
    5. Stay informed on regional market dynamics, competition, and client requirements.
  2. Sales Growth and Execution:
    1. Achieve and surpass sales targets through prospecting and consultative selling techniques.
    2. Deliver tailored product presentations and demonstrations to potential customers.
    3. Manage the full sales cycle, from lead generation to deal closure.
  3. Customer Relationship Management (CRM):
    1. Utilize HubSpot CRM to track leads, monitor sales activities, and maintain customer records.
    2. Ensure timely updates of all sales data and provide visibility into the sales pipeline.
  4. Client Management and Engagement:
    1. Foster strong relationships to drive new customer growth and build retention and satisfaction.
    2. Represent Mikata Health at events, conferences, and industry gatherings.
  5. Collaboration and Reporting:
    1. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless customer experiences.
    2. Provide activity reports, market feedback, and sales forecasts to the SVP Sales and Marketing.
Competencies And Skills
  1. Proven ability to drive sales and achieve targets, preferably in medical or SaaS sales.
  2. Proficiency in HubSpot or similar CRM tools.
  3. Ability to navigate and build relationships across a large geographic region.
  4. Strong presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  5. Commitment to understanding and meeting customer needs.
  6. Flexibility to work hours needed for events and market trends.
  7. Willingness to travel extensively within the territory, including overnight stays.
