Centretown Community Health Centre seeks a Medical Receptionist for Integrated Health Services. The role handles phone and client reception, intake, appointment scheduling, and rostering in a fast-paced clinic.
The successful candidate will have at least two years of medical receptionist experience, strong organization, and proficiency with Windows, Word, and email. Evening/weekend shifts may be required, with a patient-centered, confidential approach.
Term Full-Time Position - 35 hours/ week, end date October 1, 2027 (Backfilling)
Pay Scale
$ 24.08 to $27.69 / hourly

The Medical Receptionist is responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of clients in Integrated Health Services (IHS). The basic functions of the position are phone and client reception, client intake, booking of appointments, completing tasks as requested and rostering clients.
Secondary School Diploma or equivalent.
Minimum two (2) years experience as a medical receptionist.
Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and use discretion.
Proficient with Windows-based computer systems, in particular email and MS Word and databases.
Typing 40 wpm.
Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
Skills and experience working with a diverse population.
Ability to work independently and within a multi-disciplinary team.
Good problem-solving skills.
Ability to work some evenings and weekends.
Language Designation
English and French, written and spoken
