The Clinical Assistant supports the delivery of clinical services by maintaining the cleanliness and readiness of examination rooms, ensuring appropriate stock levels of medical equipment and supplies, and adhering to infection prevention and control (IPAC) standards. The clinical assistant reprocesses reusable medical instruments in accordance with regulatory guidelines, coordinates equipment maintenance and repairs, and contributes to the safe and efficient operation of the Integrated Health Services (IHS).
