Our team is part of the Joint Department of Medical Imaging (JDMI), a partnership between the University Health Network, Mount Sinai Hospital, and Women’s College Hospital, affiliated with the University of Toronto. This provides high interdepartmental support and extensive training.

You are adaptable, organized, and excel in a fast-paced environment. Your caring nature and interpersonal skills make you a vital team member. You will perform outpatient scans, provide emergency and inpatient coverage, operate and troubleshoot imaging equipment, and contribute to student training.

About the Medical Imaging Department

Mount Sinai Hospital’s Medical Imaging Department offers a state-of-the-art environment for clinical practice, teaching, and research. We conduct a high volume of radiography exams for diverse patient populations.

Responsibilities
  • Perform medical imaging procedures
  • Operate, troubleshoot, and maintain imaging equipment
  • Document procedures and test results
  • Participate in teaching, research, safety, and quality activities
  • Support patient care and perform cross-site responsibilities as assigned
Job Requirements
Mandatory
  • Completion of an accredited Radiological Technology program or recognized equivalent (consideration for current students with completion within 6 months)
  • Certificate of registration in Radiography from CAMRT
  • Current registration with CMRITO
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) Level II certification
Preferred
  • Level 2 and 3 CT certification
  • Membership with CAMRT
