Job summary

ML6 Search + Talent Advisory is assisting a well-established healthcare organization with outpatient diagnostic imaging clinics in Southwestern Ontario to recruit Medical Radiation Technologists. The role offers patient-centered care, balanced schedules, and the opportunity to contribute to a growing team.

You will perform examinations, maintain professional standards, and collaborate with radiologists and other staff across locations.

Qualifications

• Active registration in good standing with the CMRTIO (Ontario College).
• Current liability insurance.
• Current CPR certification.
• Reliable transportation to work across multiple locations.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Professional, courteous patient interaction and attention to safety.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centred care during examinations.
• Answer patient questions per policy and procedure while maintaining comfort.
• Explain procedures and obtain necessary views without diagnosing.
• Record and document images accurately to support assessment.
• Collaborate with MRTs, Sonographers, Radiologists, and other healthcare colleagues.
• Contribute to a positive patient experience with professionalism across interactions.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Provide compassionate, patient-centred care while maintaining a calm and professional approach.
• Respond to patient questions and concerns appropriately and in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Ensure patient comfort throughout examinations while respecting individual concerns and cultural differences.
• Explain examination procedures clearly and ensure patients understand each stage of their examination without providing a diagnosis.
• Perform patient examinations in accordance with the clients protocols, policies, and procedures.
• Ensure required views are obtained and images are accurately recorded and documented to support assessment of normal and abnormal findings.
• Collaborate with MRTs, Sonographers, Radiologists, and other healthcare providers to ensure safe and efficient service delivery.
• Contribute to a positive patient experience and maintain a high standard of professionalism across all interactions.

What You'll Need to Be Successful:

• Active registration in good standing with the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario (CMRITO).
• Current liability insurance.
• Current CPR certification.
• Reliable transportation, with the ability to work across all locations in the surrounding area.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
