Job summary

BayCare Health System is seeking a Medical Physicist to join their team in St. Joseph's Hospital. In this critical role, you'll develop radiation oncology treatment plans and ensure quality assurance of various machines and treatment planning software.

The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in Physics or a related field, hold ABR certification, and demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills. This full-time position offers various benefits, including medical coverage and tuition assistance.

• Master's degree in Physics or related field is required.
• ABR certification in Therapeutic Medical Physics is necessary.
• Board Eligible status from residency training is a must.

Shift Hours: 7:00AM - 6:00pm (may vary)

Weekend Work: Occasional

Responsibilities

• Develops treatment plans for radiation oncology plans of patients for BayCare Health System.
• Functions with initiative and independent judgement as well as work in a team setting.
• Responsibilities include machine(s), patient and treatment planning software quality assurance.
