About The Job

Vernon Jubilee Hospital (VJH) is a prominent 196-bed healthcare facility serving the North Okanagan. VJH provides a broad spectrum of medical services, advanced care, and leading-edge facilities, including emergency care, surgery, critical care, maternity and newborn care, mental health services, laboratory services, and rehabilitation. Typical duties include performing routine and complex tests using manual procedures and automated instruments, collecting and/or receiving specimens, entering data into the LIS, validating and reporting test results, maintaining instruments, and preparing solutions and control agents.

This is a casual opportunity. Casual means hours are not guaranteed and may vary, with shifts at short notice. Casual employees are eligible to apply for internal postings, including permanent and temporary positions. Many opportunities within Interior Health begin with casual employment and can lead to regular roles.
