Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or related field.
• Valid certification/registration to practise in Ontario.
• Experience in clinical lab testing and specimen processing preferred.
• Knowledge of QC, safety standards, and SOPs.

Responsibilities

• Collect, receive, prepare, and process specimens for testing.
• Perform routine and specialised tests using approved procedures.
• Analyse and verify results; report abnormal findings per protocols.
• Calibrate, operate, and maintain laboratory instruments.
• Maintain accurate records and patient documentation.
• Conduct quality control checks and ensure standards compliance.
• Identify issues and implement corrective actions.
• Follow infection control and safety procedures at all times.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals and maintain lab environment.
