Job summary

Northern Health is seeking a registered Medical Laboratory Technologist to perform technical work in the Laboratory Services department, with responsibilities across Clinical Chemistry, Hematology, and Transfusion Medicine. The role includes evaluating results and preparing reports under supervision, contributing to 24/7 on-call coverage.

Successful CAMLPR/CSMLS registration and current practice within the last six years are required.

Qualifications

• Registration in the relevant field(s) of practice per CAMLPR pathways or CSMLS certification.
• One year of recent related experience in the designated discipline within the last six years, or equivalent education/ training.

Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory test procedures in Clinical Chemistry, Hematology, and Transfusion Medicine.
• Evaluate and verify results and prepare related reports.
• Participate in an on-call rotation to support 24/7 laboratory services.
