Northern Health is seeking a registered Medical Laboratory Technologist to join our Laboratory Services team. You will perform technical work in laboratory test procedures and help ensure accurate results and timely reports.

The role covers Clinical Chemistry, Hematology, and Transfusion Medicine, and includes participation in an on-call rotation to support 24/7 laboratory services. The position requires commitment to quality and safety.

In accordance with the established mission, vision, values, and strategic priorities of Northern Health, and under the general supervision of the Manager or designate, the Medical Laboratory Technologist performs technical work involved in the duties associated with laboratory test procedures. In addition, the Medical Laboratory Technologist evaluates and verifies results and prepares related reports.

• Field of practice for this position is: Clinical Chemistry, Hematology, and Transfusion Medicine (Science).
• This position includes participations in an on-call rotation to support 24/7 laboratory services. On-call assignments are scheduled on a rotating basis and may require return to site for call-outs outside of regular working hours.
